Recently a colleague sent me a link about a soldier’s son trying to locate WWII veterans his father had sketched while serving with the 27th Infantry Division, 105th Infantry Regiment in the Central Pacific. Do you recognize any of these men? His son, Ira Dube found these prints after his father passed away in 2009 and believes that these men served alongside his father during the Battle of Saipan. His son wants to make sure that these never-before-seen sketches are returned to their family members.
