Recently I learned about The Rescued Film Project, an online archive gallery of images captured on film between the 1930’s and late 1990’s. Each image was recovered from film found in sites all over the world, and came to the project in the form of undeveloped rolls of film. This organization has the capability to process film from all eras regardless of its condition or age.

I was truly fascinated by this group and what they are doing. It made me wish I still had my father’s WWII camera which was sold as part of an estate sale. However, I have decided to try to locate it back in my hometown in the many local antique stores.
