As January ends, I immediately start think about the upcoming Valentine’s Day activities. While we’re only four days into February, the shelves overflowing with heart-shaped cards, candy and gifts have been beckoning since early January. I was shocked to see Valentine items displayed even before the reduced Christmas items were sold or removed from the store shelves in late December!

While there are plenty of love-themed items to tempt you, would you like to do something truly unique this year? Well, I found the perfect activity: A Sweetheart of a Valentine’s Show February 11, 12, & 14. The only catch is that it’s in New Orleans at The National WWII Museum. It will feature the Victory Swing Orchestra for a romantic dining-and-dancing salute to the golden era of big bands—a show sure to put you In the Mood for an unforgettable Valentine’s Day! It sounds like so much fun: I am putting it on my bucket list for next year. Learn more on the museums website. http://www.nationalww2museum.org
